Soil mass conditioning for, among other things, tunneling:
Conditioning of soil-sand masses containing hydrocarbons.
Soil-sand masses containing hydrocarbons are supplied with chemicals that oxidize the hydrocarbons.
Examples can be from pollution projects where sand-soil masses from a petrol station to be remediated or from a tunnel project where the sand-gravel masses located at the bottom of the tunnel on which all traffic has occurred must be removed. This bottom mass often contains smaller amounts of hydrocarbons which means that the masses must be deposited. Here, the conditioning process with chemicals can be an alternative.
